For two years now, my garden has remained protected from pests and diseases thanks to a simple and affordable remedy that my older neighbor advised me to use – birch tar. This natural product is known for its protective properties and is successfully used by many summer residents.
Protection against diseases with birch tar
Birch tar not only has protective properties, but also serves as an excellent fertilizer, increasing plant immunity. It effectively protects vegetables, berries, fruit trees and shrubs from various diseases. Among the components of tar are toluene, phenol, paraffin, phytoncide and xylene, which ensure its high efficiency.
To prepare a prophylactic solution in 10 liters of hot water, add 2 tablespoons of tar and 150-200 grams of wood ash. Mix thoroughly and let sit for 3-4 hours. Carry out the spraying procedure every two weeks to prevent diseases.
