Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2/3 cup milk
2 large eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
2 1/2 cups corn kernels (fresh or canned)
1 teaspoon Creole seasoning (optional)
Vegetable oil for frying
