An incomparable salad for any holiday table: it will be the first to be swept off the table. Sharing the recipe

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Boil the eggs until they are hard-boiled. Once cooled, peel and chop them into cubes.
    • Chop the crab sticks into small cubes.
    • Dice one tomato into cubes for the salad layers. Slice the second tomato thinly for decoration.
    • Finely chop the red onion.
    • Grate the cheese using a coarse grater.
  2. Assemble the Salad:
    • Arrange washed and dried lettuce leaves on a serving tray.
    • Place a cooking ring (if using) on the tray. If you don’t have a ring, you can layer the salad directly on the tray.
  3. Layering Order:
    • First Layer: Spread a layer of chopped crab sticks evenly.
    • Second Layer: Spread a layer of mayonnaise over the crab sticks.
    • Third Layer: Evenly distribute the sweet corn over the mayonnaise layer.
    • Fourth Layer: Spread another layer of mayonnaise over the sweet corn.
    • Fifth Layer: Spread the mashed tuna evenly over the mayonnaise layer.
    • Sixth Layer: Spread another layer of mayonnaise over the tuna.
    • Seventh Layer: Sprinkle the finely chopped red onion evenly over the mayonnaise layer.
    • Eighth Layer: Arrange the diced tomatoes evenly over the red onion layer.
    • Ninth Layer: Spread another layer of mayonnaise over the tomatoes.
    • Tenth Layer: Evenly distribute the chopped hard-boiled eggs over the mayonnaise layer.
    • Eleventh Layer: Spread a final layer of mayonnaise over the eggs.
    • Twelfth Layer: Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the top.
  4. Chill the Salad:
    • Place the assembled salad in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill and set. This helps the layers meld together.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    • After chilling, carefully remove the cooking ring (if used).
    • Garnish the salad by arranging the thin slices of tomato around the edges of the salad.
    • Optionally, add some chopped green onions or parsley in the center for decoration.
  6. Serve:
    • Your layered holiday salad is now ready to be served! It’s best enjoyed chilled and makes a beautiful centerpiece for any festive occasion.

This layered salad is not only visually appealing but also packed with flavors from the crab sticks, tuna, eggs, and vegetables, all bound together with creamy mayonnaise. Enjoy sharing this delightful salad with your guests!
