Classic Sloppy Joes

Instructions

In a large nonstick skillet saute the beef, onion, green bell pepper, and garlic over medium-high heat. Cook (uncovered) until the beef is browned and the vegetables are softened, about 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in the ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Turn the heat down to medium, and cook (uncovered) until the sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve the sloppy joes on burger buns, topped with red onion if desired.
