Fried Potatoes Onions And Smoked Polish Sausage

In a large pan, sauté the onion in 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat until translucent. Remove the onion from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter until the butter is melted. Add the potatoes, seasoned salt, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Stir to combine.

Cover the pan and simmer, turning occasionally, for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are somewhat softened.

Add the sausage and continue to cook for another 10 minutes.

Add the diced bell peppers to the pan and sauté until the peppers are tender and the sausage is heated through.

Return the cooked onions to the pan and stir to combine.

If using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it over the top before serving.
