How to get rid of ticks in your summer cottage once and for all

There are many drugs based on cypermethrin. Before use, make sure there are no children or animals in the area. Prepare the area by mowing the grass and removing debris. Treatment is carried out in the early morning or evening at a temperature of 15 to 20 degrees. It is important to protect crops from chemicals.

Folk remedies

Safe methods include treatment with garlic infusion or vinegar with essential oils.

Garlic infusion: you need to take 150 grams of chopped garlic and pour one liter of warm water over it. Add 3 tablespoons of essential oil (lavender, fir or pine needles) to the solution and let it brew for a day. After this, strain the infusion, add 2 tablespoons of liquid soap and dilute with water to a total volume of 10 liters.

Vinegar solution with essential oils: mix 150 milliliters of apple cider vinegar with 3 milliliters of essential oil (fir, pine needles or spruce), then dilute the resulting mixture with water in a ratio of 1 to 1.

Using boric acid with baking soda is also effective.

Boric acid and baking soda: mix equal parts of soda and boric acid, then evenly distribute the resulting powder over the area. To prepare the solution, you need to take 6 grams of boric acid per liter of water and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved.

Prevention

Cut the grass regularly, plant tick-repellent plants, and install birdhouses. Consider using ultrasonic repellers, which can be either stationary or portable.

Using these methods, you can significantly reduce the risk of ticks in your area and protect yourself and your loved ones from possible bites and diseases.
