In my case, a very fine mesh is not necessary, because large insects like wasps have already managed to penetrate through the old, poorly glued mesh.

For reliable fixation, I glued the serpyanka on both sides of the trellis, placed a strong base under it and pressed it well.

The mosquito net is now repaired and ready for use. It looks neat and much better than the old tape which didn’t do much.

Serpyanka provides good breathability and adheres securely to the glue.

It would have been possible to replace the mesh with a new one, but I preferred not to waste a lot of time and chose a simpler and more affordable repair method. If you have other ways, share them in the comments.
