Checking the quantity of oil to use
When you want to prepare a recipe that only requires a drizzle of oil, it is sometimes difficult to control the quantity that flows from the bottle. As a result, we always end up using more than we need. But thanks to the plastic tab located inside the bottle, below the cap, this problem will be quickly resolved.
In fact, the small ring allows you to partially block the spout of the bottle, and therefore to more easily control the quantity of oil to pour. This way, we can pour this liquid without losing a single drop. Quite practical, right!?

However, be careful not to press the tab too hard so as not to push it inside the bottle. To do this, simply press gently and lightly.

Avoid oil splashes and waste
You have probably already poured oil into a pan or onto the food to be cooked, when suddenly, accidentally, you pressed the bottle too vigorously, pouring out too much oil in the process. . Result ? You end up with splashes everywhere, especially on your clothes and on the stovetop.

In this case, it will be enough to simply remove the ring and then put it back upside down, to prevent any risk of waste or splashing. This will save you money and avoid this type of accident.
