I’m almost 40 years old, and I just found out what each side of the grater is for. I share my discovery

This way the grater will remain clean and all the garlic will be on the film. This advice will be useful for those who do not like to wash dishes.

Curved sides

I have never used this surface. I didn’t even know what it was for. But I found out that using this side you can grate the zest and remove scales from the fish. It can also be useful in case of burnt cookies – it will simply remove the top burnt layer.

The side with the largest holes

I also used this surface very rarely. And in vain. I saw an idea with parsley on the Internet. I decided to conduct an experiment. She put a sprig of parsley in the hole and pulled it down sharply.

The green leaves remained on the surface. This is how you can easily separate them from a branch without using a knife or wasting time. I really liked this method.

Two slots

This surface was the most incomprehensible to me. Why are these two holes needed? For what? It turned out that everything is very simple.

Using these slots you can cut products into thin slices. For example, cheese, cucumber, potatoes and sausage.

If you need slicing for a holiday table, then this side of the grater is very helpful. After all, it comes out quickly and beautifully.
