Korean Rice Cream Recipe

Rinse the Rice: Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.

Cook the Rice: In a pot, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the rice is soft and the water is absorbed (about 15-20 minutes).

Blend the Mixture: Once cooked, allow the rice to cool slightly. Transfer it to a blender, adding honey and coconut milk (if using). Blend until smooth.

Thicken (Optional): If you want a thicker consistency, mix the rice flour with a little water to make a slurry, and add it to the blended mixture. Blend again until well combined.

Add Essential Oils (Optional): If desired, add a few drops of your chosen essential oil for fragrance and skin benefits. Blend again to incorporate.

Store: Transfer the mixture to a clean jar or container. Store it in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Use: Apply a thin layer to your face or dark areas of the skin. Leave it on for about 20-30 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.

Note:
Always do a patch test first to ensure you don’t have an allergic reaction. This cream can be used 2-3 times a week for best results.
