Rolo Brownies

Instructions:

Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
Melt Butter and Mix Sugar:

In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.
Once melted, add the granulated sugar and stir until well combined.
Add Eggs and Vanilla:

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Add Chocolate Chips:

Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Layer the Batter and Rolos:

Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, smoothing it out into an even layer.
Place the unwrapped Rolo candies evenly over the batter.
Spread the remaining batter over the Rolos, ensuring they are completely covered.
Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Be careful not to overbake, as you want the brownies to be fudgy.
Cool and Serve:

Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
