This recipe is my spouse’s favorite. We eat one portion and they’re already wanting seconds..

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Dish:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare the Apple Filling:
In a large bowl, combine the peeled and sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, lemon juice, and all-purpose flour. Toss the ingredients to evenly coat the apples.
  3. Assemble the Dish:
Spread the apple mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Add the Biscuit Topping:
Cut the refrigerated biscuit dough into quarters and arrange the pieces over the apple mixture.
  5. Drizzle with Butter:
Pour the melted butter evenly over the biscuit pieces.
  6. Bake:
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the apples are tender.
  7. Cool and Serve:
Let the dessert cool slightly before serving. For an extra indulgent touch, drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.

Enjoy!

This dessert combines the warmth of apples with the lightness of biscuits, making it a comforting and delicious treat that’s perfect for any occasion!
