Horizontal, not vertical
Surely, not only me, but also many, use the grater only in a vertical position when using it. However, I learned that you don’t have to do that. You can also place the grater horizontally.
In this case, the product will remain inside the device when rubbed, so there will be no need to place a plate under it. I find it convenient.
Medium tooth side
I think this side is one of the most popular. Using it, I rub carrots into various dishes and of course into soup. I also finely grate cheese on it for salads. I learned that you can wrap this side with cling film and then you can grate the garlic on it.
