Not a pie, but a fairy tale – dough without yeast and eggs, and the filling can be different (mine with apples). Try this incredible recipe!

Today I will share with you a recipe for a delicious apple pie, which has a light and crumbly dough. You can experiment with the filling by adding jam, cottage cheese, dried fruits or berries. I’m sure this recipe will become one of your favorites.

Cooking procedure:
Pour melted butter into the sour cream, add sugar, salt, vanillin and mix well.

Combine the flour with baking powder and gradually add it to the sour cream mixture. Knead an elastic dough that does not stick to your hands. The volume of flour may vary depending on its type and the fat content of sour cream.

Place the dough in the refrigerator for 40 minutes while we prepare the filling.

You can peel the apples or not, grate them or chop them into small cubes, then fry them in a frying pan with the addition of butter and sugar until soft and excess liquid has evaporated. Add cinnamon if desired and cool until warm.

Divide the dough into three parts and roll out the first large piece for the base in the mold, lay out the filling.

We also roll out the second piece of dough and cut it into strips for weaving a lattice.
