Pour this juicy sauce on pork shoulder in a slow cooker. You’ll ditch the takeout menus for good

Cooktop Cove: Pour this juicy sauce on pork shoulder in a slow cooker. You’ll ditch the takeout menus for good
By Laura Martin
This recipe reminds me of my favorite Korean barbecue restaurant in New York. I’d always get the bulgogi, a dish of marinated pork cooked right at the table. Now that I live in central Georgia, there aren’t a lot of Korean restaurants around, but this always cures my cravings. Learn to make delicious Asian-style pork in the recipe below.
A mixture of sweet, salty and spicy provides the perfect accompaniment to rich, tender pork shoulder. This dish is delicious served over rice and/or tossed with steamed broccoli. I also like to garnish it with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
